Boarding Requirements

Age: We accept non-aggressive indoor dogs over the age of three  months who have been approved for boarding.  If your dog is younger than three  months, give us a call to discuss.

Boarding Agreement: We must have a boarding application/agreement on file prior to boarding your dog. We’ll need a copy of your dog’s vaccination records faxed from your veterinarian (816-364-0236) at least 48 hours in advance.

Boarding Procedures: All dogs must have on a flat nylon collar with a name tag. Dogs who come into our facility with fleas or other issues will be treated appropriately and charged at the owners expense.

Vaccinations: We require that all pet owners provide a veterinarian receipt to prove the dog is current on the following:

Distemper (DHLPP)

Bordatella (Kennel Cough)

Spay/Neuter: All dogs over the age of seven months must be spayed or neutered. We accept most unaltered dogs under the condition that the dog will be allowed in play group under our discretion but we reserve the right to decline unaltered dogs for any reason.  Females in heat will not be accepted. If your dog is unaltered please call.

Medications and Veterinary Care: We are Red Cross Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. If your pet requires medication, please provide a detailed list of medications and dosages and we will be glad to administer. Please note that medications need to be in the original bottle dispensed by your veterinarian.

Special Needs and Geriatric Pets: We appreciate and cater to guests with special needs. Geriatric pets, physical handicaps, select medical conditions/medication, separation anxiety, special diets or allergies, fear of thunder or fireworks…the list goes on and on!  Additional fees may be required, depending upon severity of needs.  Also, it is important to understand that while we are very experienced pet care providers with basic life saving training, we are not a veterinary clinic and in some cases your pet may be safer with an in-home boarding program or staying at a vet’s office during your absence. Call to discuss.

We reserve the right to refuse any client or any pet for any reason.
